2012 and (VERY) early 2013 drawings

Just a collection of older drawings I did back in 2012.

I worked with watercolors and a lot of my subjects are Recency woman. :)

But, hey, tell me what your think.

(click to en-large)

School girl with her backpack.

Sitting and thinking.

Slightly medieval ... maybe. :)

Was attempting at creating a story from these but never got around to it. :D
As usual. hehe!

Bustled and ready to sketch.

Country gal ... and for some reason she reminds me of Shirley Temple as a kid.  :O

Inspired by the BBC 2009 Emma.
Amazing movie by the way ... :D

Just hanging around.

Anne of Green Gables totally ... but was not shooting for that when I drew it. :)

Hoop shirts and bonnet.

Regency lady in a very vivid orange.
Am not sure where I got the idea for this from ... hehe!

Her expression is so incredible ... have no idea if she is sad, or happy, or angry, or anything.
:)

Besides from being very ruddy I'd say she's pretty. LOL!

Get ready for a bunch (and I mean a bunch) of Regency gals.

Snotty and yellow.

(no pun intended ... LOL!)

Quiet and graceful.

Adventurous and young.

High-society and snobby.

Strong and determined.

Inquisitive and poised.

Bookworm.

Ready for anything ... and everything.

(just a side effect of the Regency dress for ladies)
